The Training Programme on Sustainable Supply Chain & Manufacturing with Ecolabelling, held on 12th December 2024 in Colombo.

Organized by the National Cleaner Production Centre, Sri Lanka (NCPCSL) and facilitated under the Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Outreach in Asia – The Next Five project, this event was supported by GIZ, with funding from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

Over 25 leading export-oriented Textile & Textile based Products manufacturers participated in this engaging training, gaining valuable insights into sustainable manufacturing practices and the process of achieving Eco-Label certification.

The session focused on promoting sustainable supply chain practices and eco-friendly manufacturing in the textile industry, equipping participants with the knowledge required to achieve Eco-Label certification and align with global sustainability standards.

Together, we are advancing toward a more sustainable future for the textile sector.
